She is one of the female DJs who has made her presence felt. Her contribution as both a DJ and producer, has earned her respect amongst fellow DJs and wax spinners.

Better known as Deejay MLB, born Malebo Makhathulela, is a music driven female DJ, born to rock on the wheels of steel. She entered the industry when she was just 15 and has grown to be amongst the best female DJs in Pretoria.

In 2008 she went to study at the Tshwane University of Technology, where she met a number of campus DJs. That is where she learnt how to develop her skills as a DJ. On 14 July 2009 she was featured in the ShowBuzz Section of the wide read national newspaper Daily Sun.

She was co-host on a show called Usiko Lwentsha hosted by Vusumzi Lolwane on uKhozi FM as well as the Feminine Touch on Y-FM in 2009. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup, she was featured as one of the top local (Pretoria) DJs to entertain the masses who viewed the matches at the PVAs (Public Viewing Area).

She has worked with local producers and collaborated with DJ Tessen on a track called “My Expedition” which was released in May 2010 under Next Dimension Music Label. The track has been remixed by Dj Bullet, Kat-la-kat, Ultimate Warriors, Mindlo and Essential-I and Infinite Boys.

The second project was called Deep Trouble Sounds EP also by DJ Tessen, which she was featured on vocals of the track called “Never Say Never”. The EP was released under DJ Tessen’s Debut Label named TSN Music. Her debut single “Will You Remember Me” was released on 22nd December 2011.

She made a 2nd appearance on DailySun 06 January 2012, showing how much she has grown in the industry. She was also featured on a show called “Your Late Mate” hosted by Nimrod Nkosi on Soweto TV. Her second single “Stay” was released in July 2012.

Tshwane Sun also caught up with the talented DJ for an article in August 2012. She has then been featured on other local newspapers including Rekord. She was a tutor at the DJ School of McArt Academy in partnership with Multi-racial Records as well as FoReal Records at the South African National State Theatre.

Her debut on Dvine Brothers Music brought her latest marvel “Take Me Away” feat Nozylee, shaking up the Afro House World.

She has also been featured on the Get2gether Experience Show by Metro FM in conjunction with SABC 1.

Her latest offering “Get Stitched Vol 6” compilation has been released under DeepStitched and is available on all digital platforms.
