// Miya Whitehouse is a German DJane and soundscape designer. Her main focus lies on the genres deep house, deep tech house and Nu Disco. However, due to her passion for music, Miya's musical library encompasses much more. "If music is done well, it deserves respect as a creative work - the genre is rather secondary." Miya loves to travel, her recording device always on hand to capture urban and ambient sounds and incorporate them into her work. Her fascination for foreign countries and cultures characterizes her style and leads to her first mixtape series "Deephouse Flight to...". With a combination of cool and relaxed grooves and some house classics, she takes her listeners on an atmospheric journey. Depending on the destination well matching ethno sounds enrich the mix. With "White City" the second series will soon follow. Naming and concept were inspired by White City underground station in London; featuring a fusion of deep house, UK garage, with elements of disco and funk - casual and absolutely suitable for the dance floor.
