LADY G2 Biography
Lady G2 is a Multi-award winning International DJ with 17 years’ experience. She is UK based but travels worldwide rocking crowds from all nationalities and backgrounds. She has played in the UK, USA, Sweden, Zimbabwe, South Africa and is set for Slovenia and Australia at some point during the year. She has just completed her 7th Annual Zimbabwe/South Africa tour (February/March 2022) sending crowds into a frenzy at various venues in Zimbabwe including the popular Mashwede Village spot in Harare then jetting off to South Africa to play in Randburg and Pretoria where the stage with South Africa’s top socialite and dancer Zodwa Wabantu.
She has won 7 awards including 3 times female DJ of the year, ADA Africa Best Female DJ 2012, Zim Achievers Awards DJ of the Year 2014, Zimdancehall DJ 2009 and won the Zimbabwe Cup Clash UK 2009 making history by being the first ever female DJ to enter and win the prestigious Clash triumphing over 21 sound systems from all over the UK. No other female DJ has single headedly won this clash and against that many DJs since. She's is a BEFFTA UK (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television Arts Sports and Leadership awards) and ZIMAA UK (Zimbabwe Music and Arts Awards) award nominee.
Over the years Lady G2 has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry in the UK, United States of America, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Africa as a whole either as their tour DJ, in music videos, playing their backtracks, as part of the same event line up or online shows on social media platforms. She is also a member of the DJ Association of Zimbabwe (DJAZ) and performed at its launch in October 2020.
She does weddings, corporate events, festivals, all parties, promotions, music video appearances, ads and is also brand ambassador for several companies.
Lady G2 has a huge social media platform, does live shows and video mixes amassing a huge amount of views including a mix that has gone viral around the world and is currently approaching 400k views.
Lady G2 aka #VinylQueen specialises in playing music from Vinyl which requires a greater degree of skill and technicality, making her one of the few DJs spinning vinyl in this current technology era.

She was appointed brand Ambassador of Nature’s Creek UK in January 2022. She's currently in the UK fulfilling bookings every weekend and taking international bookings for 2022 - 2024.
Lady G2 is heavily involved Charity & Fundraising work and Women empowerment events. She has performed at the Zimbabwe International Women’s Awards (ZIWA), Woman in Need, Women of Purpose and the first UK She Festival (2018). She has also co-organised a Fundraising event for a Tare Mapungwana to have a tumour removal operation in the UK, raising nearly £3,000.
Outside Dj-ing she runs a natural remedies and event equipment hire business. Lady G2 holds several degrees including a BA (Hons) International Business degree graduating with First Class Honours (University of Greenwich) an MSc International Finance degree (University of Leeds) and is currently studying MSc Adult Nursing (University of Hertfordshire). All this whilst performing as a DJ, studying full time, working full-time, running a business as well as being a mother, wife and role model to many!
