KHATHIA Biography
Khathia inherited her creative artistic qualities from her parents, her father being a talented musician and her mother a popular Jazz singer.
It is not surprising that at only five years of age, Khathia began to play the piano, experimented with the guitar and started singing lessons. These surroundings had seen her grown up between musical notes and an environment full ofbeautiful melodies; it was natural to endow a child with an innate intuition.
In 2002 she moved to Spain, where she continued her professional training at the Conservatory of Barcelona receiving piano lessons. Soon she took her first career step and professional opportunity, as part of a Jazz band called "The Way".
Her curiosity and approach to various different musical genres would push Khathia to move to the Island to Ibiza in 2008, where she explored and soaked up the musical culture found locally.This awakened the most mystical and spiritual part of Khathia and her interest in electronic music was born.
This interest motivated her to study “electronic music production” in Madrid, where she combined all her artistic roots as a pianist with her new love for electronic music. Her performance reflects the perfect balance between unique sounds and conventional melodies, thus signifying her individuality– something that very few musicians have achieved.
In 2011 with her return to Ibiza, she had a first breakthrough as a local artist, performing in various prestigious venues, beach clubs, restaurants and lounges; Nassau beach club, El Hotel Pacha, Hotel Corso, km5, Ushuaia Beach Club, Hotel Puchet, Sa Punta ibiza.
In July of the same year, Khathia start working with one of the Famous radio station in Ibiza, www.ibizaliveradio.com. where her show “Crystal Touch” has a permanent slot every Thursday 6-7pm, offering to listeners special selection of deep house.
Her true achievement came in 2013 when she was invited to be the residence DJ in one of the most glamorous resorts on the island, “Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort”. Following this in 2014 she was asked to be the resident DJ, at "Heart" by Cirque de Soleil & Adria Brothers, offering her exclusive music sessions at the "Live Piano" within the rooftop.
During this time, she combined this opportunity, with her another residency position she acquired at the famous “Pacha Dubai”. This allowed Khatia to express her true talent and love for deep house and house music on a whole. Her performance illustrated her talents in elegant musical selections, but now combined with the latest underground themes distinguished her from the rest.
Soon after her successful seasons in Ibiza, Khathia started travelling and playing at venues in Barcelona, Italy, Switzerland, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, China,Doha Qatar, Marbella.
Khathia currently lives in Marbella, where she works at Max Beach club and Beachgrooves radio station.

In April 2021 Khathia released her first EP "Piano Waves" on DeepClass records, which was number 61 for several weeks on the list of best Deep House releases on Beatport.
