Iris Santo is Toronto's hottest rising talent and is making a name for herself in the underground electronic music scene. Her style showcases a mystical blend of deep house and techno where she draws abstract inspiration from Maceo Plex, Guy Gerber and Art Department.
It all began when she turned 19 and her older sister brought her to a nightclub that featured all house music. She quickly fell in love with the electronic dance culture and went on a quest to discover what the Toronto scene had to offer. Her curiosity lead her jet-setting to electronic music festivals all over North America and that’s when she realized her dream to one day DJ for thousands of people on a global stage.
Determined to make her dream a reality, Iris Santo bought a pair of turntables and learned the art of music creation and sound manipulation through vinyl, and eventually converting to the digital experience. It didn’t take long for her undeniable talent to be recognized booking gigs at top nightclubs such as Coda, Muzik, Parlour, Maison and Wildflower.
Staying true to her underground sound, she is one of the most sought after new talents in Toronto, captivating an international audience at Ultra Europe 2015 and Ultra Korea 2016.
