My name is SunrYse and I started learning how to DJ in 2019 and fell in love with it ever since. I’ve been in the music scene since 2005 and haven’t looked back since. I co-founded TranceFamily NYC and while I love my community, going to shows, and shuffling/dancing together to the music, deep down I knew I was still missing something and I wanted to find a different way to share the music that I love. DJing was the answer. As I got the opportunity to start opening up for well-known DJs in NYC, Philadelphia, and Washington DC, I begin to appreciate the slower melodic sounds and discovered my love for organic house/melodic house & techno. I had the honor of opening for some of my favorite DJs since 2021: Above & Beyond, Lane 8, Jeremy Olander, Ben Bohmer, Marsh, Nox Vahn, Genix, Markus Schulz, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Paul Thomas, etc... All I want is to convey the music that I love to the ears that need to hear it most.
