RAQUEL CARDONA

Raquel Cardona, born in Valencia (Spain), has dedicated her life to music since the 90's. While studying at the School of Music, she began to take an interest in vinyl and radio. Her beginnings were in one of the most mythical clubs of "la Ruta" (disco Masia), where she became known with the name of "Dj K" becoming in 2005 the first young female deejay of the room. During these years he went through the most famous discotheques of the time as Chocolate, Manssion, Chasis, Pont Aeri and Pirámide. After her beginnings, she continued her career as a resident Dj in Penélope disco (El Saler, Valencia) and Red Valencia (present-day Tulum, Valencia), between the years 2010 and 2011. In 2011 she received the revelation award of Radio Espiral FM to the Deejay House Music Revelation of the Valencian Community in Spain. She has also had a strong presence on the radio, performing her own shows on HMS Radio Show called "La locura de Cardona" and "Electro Swing Sessions". She also performance other collaborations in the radio: Més Radio, Ibiza Global Radio and Who Electronic Music. Some of the most famous discos where she was mixed are La Indiana, Mya, Spook, Cuomo, Ku Manises, The Face, Pacha, Keepers, Sabbia by Gabbeach, Sala The One, Mom, Fetish, Maison Lupin and La Mar Serena, sharing cabin with renowned artists. She has performed for international fashion firms such as Laurèl, in Madrid and Marbella and at events such as the Festival de la Dona in Valencia, OAK Electronic Music Festival in Quintanar de la Orden, the Chimes of the City Hall of Valencia, in the Champions Burguer (Football Stadium in Valencia) and the women’s world tennis tournament "Billie Jean King Cup" in Málaga. Nowadays she is on the list of the best deejays in Spain according to Djanetop and is part of the team of DJs of the most known events in the Valencian Community of Music Dance Remember of the 90’s and 20’s. She also has her residence in one of the most exclusive clubs of Denia, "la Mar Serena" and at the Westin Hotel in Valencia, where every month the "Afterwork" party is held in the Sea Bar. Her sets are a fusion of all her musical experience, mixing tech-house, dance and afro sounds.
