A Brazilian native, Monique Rodrigues aka Moniki has quietly made a name for herself by cultivating a unique blend of her cultural sound and musical skill set. As a Rio de Janeiro-bred native, she has been pushing baile funk jams across New York City. Leading the diasporic culture through her DJ sets and party series. From Internationally known, a pop-up event celebrating the crossroads of music and culture, as well curating Balada - a community that highlights Brazilian and Afro- Latin movement in NYC.
