Alissa Baylee (19) is a modest country girl that has big city vibes running through her veins; she began her love of music very young with dancing, singing and going to every concert possible.
The universe called out to her at the ripe age of 13 where she started DJing at the local roller rink. From here she was hooked, she then got her first set of decks and practiced religiously. She then went on to playing house parties and driving long distances for her dedication to play at underage events.
In 2015 at the age of 17, she won the Goodlife Festival competition, and played to a huge crowd, and was fortunate to meet many of the DJ’s she admired.
Staying unpretentious and working hard toward her goals, 2016 turned into a massive year, she started promoting for clubs all over Melbourne. She was also a guest on The Drop radio Australia. She played energetic sets at Billboard Saturdays, Cloud Nine, Lucky Thursdays and also got dark n dirty at Wah, Levels and Hidden Forest. She started to find her style by playing all these different venues. She also set out to each corner of Victoria playing at Dom’s Mildura, Cobram, Ballarat, Geelong and Traralgon and continues to return to her home town of Bendigo regularly.
This expansive adventure has provided Alissa with an intuitive understanding to the local crowds and the genre of music that they love! She is never limited to one style, which creates a unique connection with diversity and the ability to transform the energy of why she loves being a DJ.
Her enthusiasm also had her playing interstate at Red Square Adelaide.
Alissa loves many genres but her favourite are Electro-house and Big-room and 2017 sets her sights on interstate sets and production, her sound cloud is building and she loves doing guest mixes. On a personal note, she is a gym junkie, whole food eater and loving what life offers, she feels blessed to be doing what she loves every day and also the amount of support that is sent her way.
